Creating a web document

Creating a web document can be fairly trivial:
  1. Find a web page you like, for example:
  2. Save a copy of it on your hard drive.
    When looking at the web page in Netscape, hit Ctrl-S or click on File/Save As, or File/Edit Page.
  3. Edit the file to suit yourself.
  4. * Unix approach
    * Windows 95/98/NT
  5. Put it on the web.

Creating Acrobat (.pdf) files

Creating Acrobat (.pdf) documents is trivial, you just need a copy of Acrobat. The School has purchased Acrobat 4 licenses for each academic. email Will if you'd like to install it.

If you're Unix-limited, you can use open source tools like ghostscript, pdfwriter and so on; I'll assume you know how to do this yourself.
